Marty Coniglio shared a picture of soldiers posing with Adolf Hitler and captioned "Federal police in cities...now wehre have i seen that before" He's been on television in Denver for nearly 30 YEARS confirmed he was let go from 9News Staff received an email announcing he was gone that said "Dear Colleagues, i want to share that Marty Coniglio is no longer an employee of 9News. We thank him for his many years of service" The TV station's president and general manager also confirmed their working relationship but refused to say why Coniglio was supposed to leave in December 2019 because of health issues but he formalized his contract renewal mid-January saying it will go past summer He told the Denver Post he was not able to talk about the situation for at least another week but says he is moving along with the next opportunities coming up in his life His tweet came at the same time Trump announced he was sending troops into cities with democratic leaders Many declined his offer to help combat crime insisting their local police will handle it Coniglio later deleted that tweet at the advice of his "Republican activist friend" Rick Enstrom who wrote "Oh boy, he stepped on it big time..take it down bro".
