Was encouraging people to play a different Jace just to counteract JTMS a good thing? The rule didnt even solve Jace, right? they still had to ban him and didnt unban him in modern until after the rule had changed. Is there a different planeswalker you think the old rule successfully kept in check? I wasnt tuned in to the game during this period (I had stopped playing as a kid for some reason after Kamigawa and didnt pick up the game again until New Phyrexia), so I admit I dont really know what it was like at the time. --- For your Azuarc .
