Confirmed Torn ACL for Isaac. That's just so devastating for both Isaac and the Magic.

The Magic's future was very clearly to build around Fultz + Isaac. Isaac is/was the Magic's bright shining hope. The injury changes absolutely everything. The offseason basically everyone was available to be moved to commit in that direction. Gordon, Fournier, Vucevic, Bamba, Picks were all on the table.

Now Isaac won't play another game before his contract expires. By the time he returns he will have played 33 games in 2 seasons and will be coming off two separate occurrences of a torn MCL and torn ACL in the same knee. It's now back to square 1. Carry on with the current roster which has a known ceiling of ~40-45 wins and the first round of the playoffs or completely blow it up.

Best case scenario for the Magic is that Isaac returns in 2021-22 as a similar level player and the team gets him on a team friendly second contract. Okeke will come in as a rookie next season to fill in Isaac's minutes. Worst case scenario is blow it up and see what happens.
