I'm just so scared that if I take this promotion, I'll get too comfy and won't ever quit to get a real job....but this isn't something you need to be afraid of unless your ambition drive is gone. If you already feel like it's just a job and you need cash because we're in a pandemic, the slight money increase isn't going to be enough to change your stance.
