| Topic | Why do Assassin's Creed games feel like they're trying to make it not fun |

It's like you want to get so immersed in these historical environments, but then the game deliberately reminds you that you're just playing some virtual simulation and it totally takes you out of it. What's worse is that it never feels like it's really adding much to the story beyond giving some sort of meta-explanation for the more video game-y aspects of the series which....isn't really necessary IMO. Thankfully, Odyssey has very little of that going on and the game is a lot better for it. --- I have nothing else to say ... Copied to Clipboard! |
