It's because BLM doesn't give a fuck about him or people like him. Despite the name, BLM is not actually about black lives mattering in a general sense. It's about police brutally and racism. Black lives do not matter to BLM if the black lives in question don't have something to do with one of those two things and this is just another example of that. It is possible it is related to a confrontation he had a day or two prior to his death.
