And I do like it more than the shorter version (I thought the part where he smashes open the glass in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just to get a new pair of glasses was particularly amusing), but I still strongly prefer the other Drew Carey intro. Even in the long version of Cleveland Rocks, the focus is primarily on the city and its famous spots, whereas in 5 O Clock World, the emphasis is on characterization, such as the way we see his escapist fantasy at work. You can even see that distinction in the theme songs for each intro. One is focused on Cleveland, the other on the characters struggle to make it through the work day. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
