You're 33 now, but what happens when you're 43, or 53? Who's going to take care of your father then? Many brave, honorable and economically productive children live at home. It's not unusual at all.

My dad is 65 and can look after himself. However if I reach 43 or even 53 I certainly hope to have moved out by then. AT that point I guess just me and my siblings will visit him as will his "gf".

To add to this, different cultures have different views on this.

Indeed. I find it interesting how the rest of the world works most the time.
