"Potatoes" is funny because it reminds me of a horse named Potoooooooo (Pot-8-Os), who got his name when a stable boy was asked to write the name "Potatoes" on a feed bin and wrote it literally like it sounded, Pot followed by 8 Os. The owner was so amused he kept the spelling.
