Continuing on...

SOA: #12 This part of the game is a turning point. One character is out of the party for story line reasons, and the rest of your crew is split up in two different areas. The main character finds himself on a deserted island, and the other two are in a port city. At the deserted island, your tasked with defeating a bunch of enemies for food, and gathering items on the ground during each segment. As for the port city section, finding and talking with the right people will advance the story. Eventually, both parties will arrive at a small island to the north.

#13 Daccat's Island. Each party takes on half of the dungeon, with actions that will unlock doors and paths. There are *switching points* scattered around to swap between the two parties as you progress. Reaching the end reunites both parties as one, and the game doesn't let you progress further without *surprise surprise*, a boss battle. This one has two enemies, each one using fire or ice properties. But, the kicker is an attack called Death Waltz, hefty damage to the whole party. This has a 2 turn setup, where the boss uses the Engage command on the previous turn before executing the attack. However, kill one of them, and the Death Waltz attack is no more, and the battle becomes rather simple to finish.
