Only in (non-porn) Hollywood. This isn't just another Wienstein case, because his movies weren't seen as pornographic; so where would it make sense to have porno-sex with someone, for a role in a movie that has nothing to do with sex or porn?

The casting couch in the porn industry practically mandatory.

Think about it in another way. Someone is going to direct another movie based on Shakespeare's plays, using traditional method actors trained in the Shakespearean way.... So you get Ian McKellan, Al Pacino, Kenneth Branagh, Carrot Top, Patrick Stewart andVanessa Redgrave to audition.....which one isn't going to get the role? Why, because obviously Carrot Top isn't a Shakespearean caliber actor.

Now think about it this way. Someone at Vivid is going to film "Betty's Blowjob Bonanza 6" (w/e), where they want the best oral magicians in LA to star in. And this movie is going to be important because it's going to be a contender for the next AVN awards (Porn Oscars). .....so how do we find out who is the best for the role?

And it says it happened at a person't house and at a bar. But not on like a film set... Just because he's a porn star doesn't mean they are... Maybe I'm missed it somehow...

Very little details are revealed on any article about the case. Other than Ron Jeremy "raped" other actresses.... which stands the point. How can you prove rape in an industry where it's your job to be penetrated anyways?

At a bar or a person's house? Come on, we've all seen porn! There is no designated set for the scenes that get shot. There is no rule or law saying auditions or even filming porn has to be done in specific times and places.

I've been to a "wrap party" with a friend of mine as his wingman, where all the people who worked on the show was hobnobbing with each other. "talking shop", discussing their roles, how they can do this better in future episodes.... I could only imagine, what a porn "wrap-party" would be like.
