I used to watch it when I got home from high school which was funny because it was a parody of the "after school special" genre.

Very quotable show too. I remember Colbert's closeted gay dude reading a biblical line at dinner when his male love interest was over, like his family always said grace with a randomly chosen bible passage and this time it was something like "when a man lays with another man, it's an abomination"

Then there was Principal Onyx Blackman arguing with Jerri's paralyzed father over the phone and it was implied that the father used the n word.

And Jerri's fucking ridiculous pets that were always killed off in the same episode they were introduced >_>

And in one episode she gave in to peer pressure and got high as fuck and she was talking about everything being super colorful but she was just seeing a bunch of shades of brown and gray lol.

Not even one of my favorite shows of that time but still lots of memory lane there
