If UBI is going to make any major traction then "money for people" programs need to not have the negative stigma associated with them of being a way for people to make MORE money by NOT working. The problem is that people need to make a living wage in the first place because they determined what people need to live and the UBI is what they sent and the fact that its vastly more than a lot of people make is criminal and the solution shouldnt be to lower the UBI it should be to make a required payable livable wage all the time.
