| BetrayedTangy 07/09/20 9:36:33 PM #274: | Did a bit more HeartGold today I traded over and bred the Yanma, made sure to get one with Speed Boost and actually taught it U-Turn that we got from Bugsy. It's making switch training a lot easier. I also put Morty on hold so I could get the next member of my team. I skipped ahead to Olivine to grab the Good Rod, then went all the way back to New Bark and caught a Chinchou. While I was grinding, my Oddish evolved to Gloom. Which I then evolved to Bellossom immediately. I also took the time to buy some TMs. I got SolarBeam for Bellossom and Thunder for Chinchou. I also considered heading back to Platinum for some TMs not available in HG (specifically Toxic), but opted not to when I saw how many TMs I would want to use (Flamethrower, Psychic, Sunny Day and Protect, among others) Feeling pretty confident otherwise I went to take on Morty. While his trainers weren't an issue. I highly underestimated his Gengar which swept my entire team. So I've got some leveling to do.
