Im not sure how much I would like this intro if I saw it for the first time today, but its got some nostalgia value for me, since I really liked this show back when it was on the air.

I think the best thing about the intro is the catchy and fun theme song. Its memorable and its tough to imagine a song that could have worked any better for this show.

Theres definitely some originality to the way the words run across the screen as part of the presentation, but aside from that, its basically a series of clips. The intro manages to tell about as much story as it possibly can for a premise about two mice trying to take over the world, not only giving us the plot, but also showing us the personalities of the two leads. And at least for Brain, theres a bit more to his personality than just being a genius, given that Orson Welles like voice and obvious annoyance at Pinkys antics.

Id also say the animation is about average for the era. Its consistent in quality, but never stands out as particularly impressive.

Its a solid intro overall. Narf.
