Anyway, this is a mostly conventional intro, with a couple unusual traits like the visual distortion at around 0:38, the colorless segment at 0:22, and the Brady Bunch style layout with character faces near the end. Theres hardly any story evident from this sequence, and Im not even sure why they bothered with a narration backstory if all it was going to tell us was 12 years ago a 9-tailed fox suddenly appeared, which means absolutely nothing without watching the show. There were some hints as to the main characters personality to prevent the Story score from coming in lower, but not much. What I liked most about this intro was the theme song, which had some competent rapping (at least by the standards of TV intros), and some cool musical elements. Finally, the animation was okay. A little sloppy in parts and never particularly impressive, but not too bad. Nothing more to say about this one. --- I don't want to alarm you, but there may be a boogeyman or boogeymen in the house ... Copied to Clipboard! |
