| Topic | As an LGBT person, have you ever faced any hate/prejudice in real life? |
| dotsdfe 07/03/20 5:05:08 PM #20: | I voted other. I was called gay/slurs in HS before I knew that I was gay just because I was always really quiet. I'm a massive introvert, and that's apparently a magnet to bullies. I'm pretty closeted IRL for the most part, but my grandma in particular is very anti-gay and routinely makes demeaning comments towards gay people, as much as saying that she wants to beat Ellen DeGeneres to death. It's really bad and I try to just kind of zone out as much as I can when she gets like that, because it's painful to hear it all. I can't say I've experienced much directed at me for my sexuality in person due to staying in the closet, but I've been around it a decent bit, at least. --- Winner of the Third Hacked User Contest.
