A while ago I ran across you recommending the anime Assassination Classroom somewhere or other. I was looking for something to watch and decided to give it a try even though it's not really my typical fare. I just finished it, and I wanted to thank you. I doubt it's something I would have ever heard of without you mentioning it, but I enjoyed it very much. It made me reflect on the various teachers in my life and how they (and the education process in general) shaped my life, for better or for worse. I'm writing a hokey anonymous letter to an old middle school teacher whose life I did my best to make miserable because it was a really rough time in my life. In retrospect, although I was never quite ready for it, I can see that she genuinely cared for me and did her best for me in a way that nobody else did. I hope it makes her happy.
