The mask itself helped disperse the impact of the killers strike on Rons forehead.This is my favorite cross-examination in the entire series. It's so funny to me. You press and get information that he wore his outfit at the time, the fantastic MaskDeMasque theme starts up, and the judge, lawyer and prosecutor are all like "wtf dude" at the same time. Then he adds a new statement, you press that, and then he reveals he's the one who stuffed Bullard in the safe, leading to the music blaring again, and everyone gets shocked a second time, before dumping on Ron again.
