I dont like any of the characters, I dont find any of the jokes funny, and I cant stand the thinly veiled racism involving Fez. I could go on and on, but Im supposed to be talking about the intro. Despite my personal feelings, this isnt a bad intro objectively. The theme song fits the intended carefree tone and works well for the characters to sing along with. And although the sequence is basically a less interesting version of the Bohemian Rhapsody scene from Waynes World, it manages to avoid being a generic series of clips of each of the characters like so many sitcom intros. But the intro falls short on story. We do get a sense of the strong bond between each of these friends having a good time just living and being young. But theres no differentiating any of them from each other in this sequence, theyre all acting pretty much the same. Regardless, the intro accomplishes what it tries to do, and not every intro has to have some deeper meaning. --- I don't want to alarm you, but there may be a boogeyman or boogeymen in the house ...
