Of course, his father was Issac, and his father was Abraham, so it kinda starts with Abraham. I'm not too educated in this, so I'm not sure why Jacob is considered the father of the Jews, and Abraham was not. While Judaism most certainly existed prior to Moses, he is still a major figure, and perhaps the most important law bringer of Judaism. masterbarf posted... Us Jews worship God. Unlike Christians and Muslims we honor the commandments forbidding the worship of false idols. Yes, Jews worship God. As do Muslims. We have no false idols as well. What gives you the impression that we do? Rasullulah (SAW) never told anyone he was a God and specifically forbade anyone to consider him that.
