Yeah she was created for Evolution, but it didn't take long for them to put her in the comics. It's Wolverine but a girl, not a hard sell.

Kinda weird that their first thought of how to introduce her into the comics was 'let's make her a teen prostitute', though.

Wasn't this around the time of MAX series coming out like Alias and Punisher MAX. Maybe their original intention was to have a mature audience book but then had to switch gears (maybe because of Evolution?). I can see them wanting a full carnage MA-rated Wolverine story without censorship of bloody claw action.

I'll see if there's anything about it.
