While they have a threat to deal with no one seems too worried about it. Lacking in dramatic music during cutscenes too. Battle system - I like having my nopon army and thier various summon attacks, but lack of skill trees leaves the active party members feeling weaker than they should Exploration- This is the one part where I think the DLC actually shines.
