To the contrary, Power Rangers was taken from the Super Sentai series (as I learned from looking into this one). On the other hand, this particular series was released in 2009 and is one of an absurdly large number of series with similar intros. Theres also hardly any semblance of a story here. A group of kids dress up in colorful costumes and battle monsters with swords. Of course, they can operate robots that combine to form some giant samurai robot. And thats about it, without any hint of a character whos even got as much personality as a two-dimensional villain like Rita Repulsa. The music isnt bad, but is extremely generic and forgettable. Although I was never a fan, at least I remember the catchy Power Rangers theme song, whereas I cant recall this song despite having literally listened to it less than a minute ago. --- I don't want to alarm you, but there may be a boogeyman or boogeymen in the house ...
