i would absolutely invest into that but the costs outweigh what i usually have to pay for the visits, i might just be lucky not to encounter anything major over 9 years with my current dog.
last one was 90$. for rabies shot. nail clipping and exam.

worse one was 500$ for aural hematoma (2 treatments, 1st didn't work) she hated the cone of shame.
edit: hopefully that bill isn't too high to pay on your end.
