Through some backtraces and investigation, he's figured out the identity of the guy sending weird messages, and has requested a match with him! That "FOXDIE" bit wasn't so clever, was it....REVOLVER OCELOT? Ocelot himself appears, looking untroubled and doing the hand thing. (67, Inscrutable gets Adequate) Unfortunately, Tails' preparation doesn't seem to have covered Ocelot's fighting style, and the vet doesn't seem too thrown off by having to fight an anthro flying fox half his size. Ocelot gets the big showcase win. (68) Nack gets a runback challenging Omega for the 50 Ring Belt, but this time he has Kairi Hojo by his side....and that winds up being the difference maker, as a sneaky elbow strike here and a trip there give Nack the boost he needs to win the title! (51) Next up is the Tag Title match...The Bruiser Brothers prevail over Espio and Mighty! (50) The Chaotix regroup backstage, rather dejected. Knuckles NEEDS to win the Master Emerald back, and he will, on his pride as its Guardian. (45) Chaos beats Blaze in a filler match. (57) Rouge faces Knuckles for the Master Emerald! Knux throws everything he has....but Rouge just plain beats him clean to retain! Knuckles is distraught alone in the ring, before sadly leaving. (58; Rouge twists her knee in a botch from Knuckles) Eggman gives us a promo about how he's going to win the tournament tonight and Metal Sonic is going to take out that hedgehog to boot! (65) Amy/Eggman is a hectic and fast-paced affair- Metal Sonic tries to interfere, but Sonic comes out to fight him to the back! Scratch and Grounder run in next....but Shadow appears to take them out! Shadow nods to his recent rival, showing his respect. (and commiserating about their early deaths in Mythic Fragment I guess) With the numbers game neutralized and momentum on her side, Amy puts the Doctor down, winning the Sonic the Fighters tournament! (68) She barely has any time to celebrate before Rouge runs in on her! Rouge can be heard screaming that she's the REAL winner around here! (54) In a blatant show of distrust, Sonic/Metal gets the ME slot over the title and tournament. It's a solid match though, with Sonic getting the big win!
