But newbies vs. veterans is always a bad idea, and they picked five really strong, consistent TAR teams to take on five Survivor/BB teams that all had some sort of obvious Achilles heel going in, plus Nicole & Victor.i am still unsure of where i stand, i think in the cases of micronesia and caramoan it was certainly set up for the guys you love and want to root for (supposedly) to crush the minnows, and it shows but there is some degree of that kind of being fun, and creating genuine underdogs. i think chris & bret's arc is a lot less enjoyable if they aren't overmatched basically the entire time --- it's an underwater adventure ride ...
