So how would people interpret Other's continual strong performance in this poll every time it's run? If even Microsoft is under 1%, it strongly suggests nothing from this millennium could be contributing anything noteworthy to Other. Atari doing so well means I could maybe buy about half of Other being from its pre-crash console competitors. But what else is there that mattered at all that the other options don't cover? At that point you're left with total dregs. I think the real answer is probably that many people aren't interpreting "video game system" to necessarily mean "video game console." Other is doing extremely well in the U.K. and I know their early home gaming scene was dominated by home computers of the era like the Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum.
