If I did want armor I just settled for sparks stuff cuz that's stuff so easy to get, and you can recycle it for money after you're done with it (all sparks gear has same sparks-to-gil ratio). Yeah, I had thought of that for Sparks gear, but that stops for armor around the lv50s, in time for the first set of AF gear. I like having some armor for the times that multiple monsters aggro, and my Trusts are only killing or holding one at a time. Of course, it's possible I don't have enough good Trust NPCs to see this OP-ness I keep reading about; I have Shantotto II on the regular, and swap around the others with Lion being a regular. --- ...
