Also, just my personal feelings, but I find it weird when people rename cats who already have perfectly good names.

It's less weird if it's a young kitten (like these two cutie pies) because they haven't had time to get used to their names. I also don't begrudge anyone who renames a cat who has an offensive name, a boring placeholder name (Fluffy, Kitty, Spot, etc.), or that shares that name with someone you know. Fun story: I have a cousin who adopted a dog and gave it the same name as one of our other cousins. Very weird. But, I couldn't keep a cat that say had the same name as my mom. I'd have to rename it.

But I'll see people adopt cats who are six or seven years old with a cute name and just change it. Idk, that feels weird to me.

Personally, I think Big Mac and Frosty are cute names, but I understand the fun of coming up with a name of your own. I had a lot of very uniquely named cats throughout my life.
No I get that, they were at the shelter for all of two days and they were given those names at the shelter so I felt like I was good to change it. My boy that I adopted is named Boots and I hate it, but he knows it and responds to it so I never changed it.
