| Evillordexdeath 06/10/20 9:49:49 PM #143: | Mass Effect 2 Release Date: January 26, 2010 I will be playing on: Playstation 3 Previous Experience with ME2: One complete Playthrough Expectations for ME2: ME1 but more polished One theme that I noticed looking over the early games of this project was "fallen giants." Bioware is the first example we come to. At the start of the decade they released this 1-seeded division winner, yet by the end they were putting out mediocre sludge like ME:A and Anthem, the latter of which they will be chained to for a long time, trying to slowly fix it No Man's Sky style. Perhaps we can say that Bioware made a deal with the devil, since they sold themselves out to EA around the time of ME1's release. The extra funds from such a large-scale company may have helped create a game like ME2, but eventually the devil must have his due, and Bioware has given up its soul by now. I remember think 2 was the overall best game in the Mass Effect series, mainly due to lacking the major flaws of the others. I'll be glad to have the first game's inventory management and vehicle sections behind me, and I'm looking forward to catching up with old friends like Garrus and Mordin. --- I'm playing every game from GotD 2020!
