The biggest questions for me in closing Chapter 1 are: who hired Zephyr, and who exactly is Musse?

For Zephyr, the obvious answer would be Osborne... Funny that he would hire a Jaeger corps when he has an entire army to command, but at the same time, if you need some shady stuff done and you don't want it traced back, it makes sense.

If not him, then I'm at a bit of a loss. Noble faction remnants have other things to spend money on than Ouroboros; this is very much not the Bracers' style; and Calvard is fighting a losing war against Erebonia (and would not mind a bit of internal strife in Erebonia). Whoever it is, they must have very large coffers, since IIRC Red Constellation and Zephyr aren't cheap.

For Musse, I'm drawing a blank. Ouroboros seems to be almost too obvious an answer..... given that Laura seemed to know/realize something about her, I'm wondering if she's connected to Legram in some way. A witch, perhaps? She does fit the profile.

Either way, she obviously came to the branch campus with a plan, having done a lot of research into Rean & the others. Which reminds me - wasn't Rean's appointment at the branch campus a fairly hushed thing? Whereas she came to the campus almost with the expectation/foreknowledge that Rean would be there.

Given that Ash is the obvious Osborne/Lechter plant, maybe Musse is being overtly shady when in fact she's ultimately well-meaning. Is she a Prince Olivert agent? I feel like I'm missing something obvious.

Anyway, decent intro into the game overall, though I slightly prefer the school dynamics over the field trip.
