| Romulox28 06/04/20 9:31:34 AM #15: | one thing that kind of bugs me about the reaction to the george floyd situation is how it seems like the people i know who are, by far, the most vocal about it on social media are not black, and they have this really authoritarian & abrasive tone where it seems like they are talking down to every reader and each post comes across like it's a response to a personal attack. i dont know how else to describe it, it's just this combination of pontificating + talking down to the reader + getting into a fight with an imaginary character they created in their mind. i feel like this has been the norm on twitter but now it's leaking to other platforms as well --- ...
