The bottom line is that we probably actually do need some sort of law enforcement. Take that away, and it would likely be modern day wild west. As much as you hate them, you kinda need at least some form of police. Is it perfect? No. Does it need reform? Probably like a lot of things, yes. Should you attack them on sight, even tho the one you attacked may have never abused their power?
