It wasn't scary so much in practice as it was in theory, but my goodness it was an experience. I regret not putting on the subtitles and at the same time knowing everything said would've cheapened the experience I think. It's not like the VVitch where everything is SUPER QUIET and SUBDUED to punctuate the moments of heightened volume and emotion, it's just thick accents for the most part.
