They've gotta deliver at Sonic the Fighters, and they'll only do that if they can get on the same page. Mid speech, Rouge shows up with the Master Emerald to wave at him. He gets distracted and chases her around the backstage area for a bit. (43) Shadow gets a scrap of momentum back by taking down Jazz Jackrabbit. (52) Manny tries his shtick with Eddv and gets punched in the mouth for his trouble. (45) Nack and Kairi take down Sally and Sticks. (54) The Treasure Hunters are on a roll, but will that take Nack past Omega? Omega comes out to pose at them- Nack tries to bait him down to the ring, but Omega's not in the mood for a one on two. (44) Tails Doll beats NiGHTS. (51) NiGHTS is down, but not out, and fights him up the entry ramp! That's more than we've seen most of the Doll's victims do, at least. (44) Etemon is here for a live performance! He mercifully doesn't get very far before Geno interrupts the proceedings. Etemon shouldn't make him come down there. Etemon instructs him to bring it. (52) An impromptu match occurs, and Geno gets the win before too long. (53) The Bruiser Brothers attempt to talk themselves up. They don't do so hot, but maybe they can prove their point in the ring. (38) Amy is up against the winner of Sonic/Eggman in the finals, so she is teaming up with Tails tonight against Scratch and Grounder in the battle of the sidekicks. Tails seems to be having focus issues, but luckily they're fighting jobbers and he can win anyway. (48) Another cryptic video pops up while Tails and Amy are still in the ring! It shows the date of Sonic the Fighters, before showing the phrase "Die, Fox." again. The words swap places, displaying "Fox, Die." ooooOOOOOooo (58) Semifinal time! Sonic faces Eggman in the age-old classic. Eggman oversells a bump, and while senior official Uncle Chuck checks on him, Metal Sonic pops up and hits a Metal Flash! Sonic's down! Eggman covers for the three count! (72) Eggman and Metal Sonic put the boots to our hero until Amy arrives to make the save!
