The internet is full of stories and confessions from mothers of children with severe mental deficiencies who more or less spend every day quietly hoping their child dies. It's a hellish life with no rewards, no breaks, and you're expected to put on a smile and tell the world about how wonderful things are. I think it hits a bit harder because I heard a bit about the story initially, but when I heard it, the mother was pretty adamantly claiming that it was a gang kidnapping. I actually felt sorry for her when I heard it, but then I saw that and it was that much worse. Shit's just so fucked up. --- Winner of the Third Hacked User Contest.
