But the context of Chapter 11 changing the graveyard from the original (more a sign of Midgar's expansion creating death and decay in the underclass, as the wreckage of a long ago train crash is left to rot as unimportant) is pretty striking. Remember the somber music that played in OGFFVII? Anxious Heart is such a great piece of music to really set the feelings for it in the original. In the sequel, the decision to focus on the spiritual element just completely flips the idea on it's head. It's no longer a monument to inequality and progress.
