Even though it lost its division final match, I personally give Persona 4 Golden the Star of the Contest award. Everything aligned up for that game so well, taking advantage of rallies plus anti-voting against the Rockstar games to win, and achieving a bandwagon to get past GTAV (which is an anomaly in its commercial success) and putting up a very respectable loss against Xenoblade.

It's also really weird how that division ended up when it came to the platform they were in compared to the others. I've listed in division order the platforms each of the games, and using parenthesis for re-releases:

Wii U/Switch vs. 3DS/PS4 (+Switch)
PC/PS3/360 vs. PC/PS4/Xbox One (two non-Nintendo AAA games)
Switch vs. Switch (two Nintendo AAA games)
Vita vs. Wii
PC/PS4/Xbox One (+Switch) vs. PS4
PS3/PS4 vs. PC/PS3/360 (PS exclusive vs. non-Nintendo AAA game)
PC/PS3/360 (+PS4/Xbox One/Switch) vs. PS3 (+PS4)
PC/PS3/360 (+PS4/Xbox One/Switch) vs. DS

It's odd to see Division 4 end the way it did, as the Vita never did anything notable in past polls while the Wii was known for LOL WII in the last Game of the Decade contest. To see a Wii game beat a Vita game so far in the contest is not something I expected, and judging by the prediction percentage, not many did either.

It's also a reason why I consider GTAV the game equivalent of Lara Croft and Pac-Man; an absolute disgrace to its seed. It had two opportunities to prove itself and just failed to get the job done.
