They can suck it up, buttercup. Organizing public-health strategies around what's good for Kroger doesn't seem great. And people are not going to stop shopping for essentials just because Karen threw a tantrum.

I dunno, I think that's exactly the balance we're trying to find. Right now we're struggling to stay off the edges of triangle of everyone gets the virus vs all the grocery store go out of business and everyone starves vs competitive economics in the grocery industry collapsing, so depending on which way we're sliding, doing what's best for Kroger might be the thing to do afterall.
