That's not happening. The reasoning that you are using for why you say his response was excessive is that she couldn't have hit him that hard with what she had, and our response is that he couldn't know that for sure and it's unreasonable to expect him to wait to find out so it wasn't excessive.

My point is looking at her attempt to pick up that thing with two hands. It's pretty obvious she can't lift that thing to hit him in the head with the same force he hits her with. That's just physics.

And this is the part where you are putting words in my mouth. I'm not saying he should have waited to be hit at all. I've said before he had a right to defend himself because she was the aggressor in this situation.

But legally speaking, especially where this is, I don't think he has the self-defensive protection when he hit her in the skull with a blunt object.
