On the contrary I'd imagine this government is doing a better job catching people than paying off the backlog of applicants. All it takes is an automated system to ping your deposits and even if you don't hear anything, the odds it catches up to you is high once a tech/legal branch goes over the queued flags. I just wouldn't risk it. I mean, that's pretty easy to get around. Either have another account or cash your checks.
