My #1 most hated fanbase is definitely the nutjob Smash people, but it's not "people better than me". I love losing to better players and learning from them. That in and of itself is never a problem. It's when people act like Inui or Esam that ruin it for the entire fanbase. But that by itself isn't "worst fanbase ever" material, because that doesn't even get into the truly abhorrent stuff. My big revelation was when two teenagers made the final of a Smash 4 tournament and a bunch of people doxxed them and sent them death threats after booing their entire match. It's like, do I really want to be associated with this trash? You, my man, I've had issues with in the past.
