Also 2016 was a good year for games but it lacked the big headliners, ESPECIALLY in the realm of big RPGs and expansive action adventure games that GameFAQs likes. This is why FFXV effectively defaulted its way to GotY here (and it needed a rally). Bizarrely, now the actual strongest game of that year is Doom, an FPS. One of the only years you can say that about, definitely the only one of the last 15 years. --- I just decided to change this sig.
