Tom Bombadil 05/17/20 2:12:23 AM #40:	Sonic Boom Wk. 4, 1/15 NiGHTS welcomes us to another night of hot tournament action! He's happy to be he- a fan jumps into the ring! It's....it's Eddv! He jumps NiGHTS from behind and beats him down! (40; Eddv's Rebel gets Very Good. Fun fact I was going for the Randomaniacs but Maniac went to FF instead at the last minute so now I have no idea what to do with Eddv. The age-old curse of my tag divisions.) Well whatever, tournament time! Geno faces Dr. Eggman. Geno pushes the wily vet to his limit, but ultimately comes up a hair short. (51) Sticks finds Blaze backstage, and the two commiserate over getting beat by Tails Doll. (39) Antoine gets a chance to prove himself against said Tails Doll. He does not, but he's very brave about it at least. (46) There's some disarray in the ranks of the Chaotix still. Vector tries to get everybody on the same page, but man we don't even know where Knuckles is and the Master Emerald's gone and Espio's kinda been a jerk lately and everybody's cranky about it. (44) Shadow takes out his recent frustrations with a win over Big the Cat. (57) Manny starts to mock Tails for losing in round one....but Tails is clearly pretty despondent on it, so Manny goes easy on him. (60) Storylines collide as Amy and Omega team up against Chaos and Nack, with both tournament and 50 Ring implications. Amy's hot streak continues with a pinfall over Nack. (56) Nack is still in the ring after the match. He lost tonight, but he's got a secret weapon up his sleeve. Somebody who appreciates the finer things in life, like plundering shiny things. His new partner is none other than.....Kairi Hojo! (or Sane for you baka gaijin I guess) She grins and salutes Nack. (49; Kairi's Pirate gets Very Good) Rouge is in the ring, flaunting her shiny new Master Emerald. She's interrupted by Knuckles! He appears to have survived and made it back to this world! He ain't too happy about it, but to be fair neither is the new champ. She books it backstage. (64) The last match of the first round sees Sonic against Metal Sonic. The Blue Blur seems to be finally taking things a bit more seriously, forgoing some of his usual antics. It's a hot match, but Sonic comes out on top this time! (75) That means he'll be facing Eggman in two weeks for a trip to the finals. Eggman comes out for the requisite staredown.
