| Crash4Smash 05/14/20 9:20:37 AM #1: | IMO, Zelda BotW is the most overrated game of the decade. Would have been nice to see the FFVII remake trounce it. Better graphics, better framerate (lol), better gameplay, better story, better character development, better music, pretty much better everything. I get this site prefers Nintendo, but it's really crazy to watch an uninspired game like BotW win over games like Skyrim which literally paved the way and provided the formula for BotW. Even the director for BotW said he tried to make the game as much like Skyrim as possible because of how fun and successful the game was. IMO, games should do something new to win a title like game of the decade. FFVII remake revamped the combat system into the best we've seen in modern RPGs; better than Skyrim, better than Witcher 3, and MUCH better than the childish button-mashing that is Zelda.
