It's not just a jury bias. Women are more likely to get voted out if there's fear of an idol being played, because the aggressive male players are more likely to have idols. And that has nothing to do with an ability to find them or how often they look. It's the other players writing off whenever a big dog goes after an idol, but as soon as a woman or a man of the Know-It-All or Neurotic Nerd archetype even steps away from camp everyone assumes they are going to an idol and plot to get rid of them.

On the flip side, if a woman played like Tony, she'd be seen as a bitch and get voted out. This goes all the way back to the early days, as Mario Lanza points out, in the first two seasons, compare the reaction to Richard, the main villain of the first season, to the reaction to Jerri, the main villain of the second season.

People are definitely suspicious of any player who disappears from camp, but sure ok. We're all just inherently sexist. Sarah is a hero. Let's just give her the money now. Can we stop talking about this horse shit
