Saw a post on the fitness subreddit. Guy went from barely running a mile in ~11 minutes to running a 5k in 16-17 minute in a year with no previous running training.

Like wtf, that's insane progress.

That's not that crazy. There are routines to get someone from not running to a half marathon in like 3 months. It's about daily consistency and a blend of HIIT vs endurance training.


I can believe getting someone to running a half marathon fine, I mean, if you run slow enough, you'll do it.

It's the speed increase and increased mileage over the year that's just kinda out there.
