I've explained multiple times in the past why I dislike Otis and his entire gimmick. I've also for a couple of years talked about the quote Vince McMahon offered: "Our competition is everything on television." I hold him to that. This story has no clear difference between itself and the Lana/Rusev/Ziggler storyline. Even one of the participants is the same. Romantic angles in wrestling play off like high school gossip, and while I can appreciate a silly gimmick, I can't appreciate a stupid one. Otis' gimmick of being a raving, incoherent gluttonous clown designed to lampoon some perceived slights Vince sees in the people around him does nothing for me, much in the same way that the Young Bucks doing a BTE in all red for a scene in order lampoon the Fiend did nothing for me. And Rock, as someone who has been reading my posts in these topics for years, I expected you to not gaslight and pretend I'm someone who doesn't pretty much always articulate their positions.
