Nack the Weasel is here to kick us off. He's known as a bounty hunter, but he's a trophy hunter too....and his shelf could use a bit more gold on it! That's why he took Omega out, and that's why he's about to do it again, all official-like! (42) It's speed vs. power as the tricky Nack takes on the rock steady Omega for the midcard title. Nack rolls out a whole series of tricks, but when those can't keep the robot down, the momentum shifts, and Omega puts him away before too long. (53)

Tails Doll is out for a match with Silver. Silver comes second, warily floating to the ring. A patch of....dark light? blinks into existence on the entry ramp. Silver reacts in horror, but the dark light expands into a bubble.....and sucks him in.

Silver is in....a long corridor. There is a giant ball, some boxes, and many pits. Reacting on instinct, he starts pushing the ball towards the other end of the corridor. It's incredibly frustrating for him- the ball can only withstand so many psychic pushes before it disappears, and tends to react unpredictably and fall into the pits. Every time Silver fails, a new ball appears, and he begins again. He's done this before, though, and eventually manages to make it to the far end of the hallway. He has to get the ball into this last pit. Tails Doll is there, blocking the way. He pushes the ball back....knocking Silver into one of the pits.

Silver falls....to the ground, in the Castle Town town square. Tails Doll is here. There's plenty of furniture around. Tails Doll flies lazily around, and Silver grabs tables, chairs, and boxes. He flings them at his enemy....but they just phase through, and Tails Doll reappears in a new location. Silver's thrown everything. It's no use! Silver pounds on the ground in frustration.

Iblis has come. The apocalypse is at hand. Fire rains from the sky. With a cry of despair, Silver charges into action, but is knocked aside easily. He crawls into a building for shelter, and watches the world tear apart and burn. He was too late. He could not stop it.

Reach out for the sunshine
Forget about the rain

Silver steps out from his cover, crying. A fireball crushes him.

The lights come back up in the ring. Tails Doll is there. Behind him emerges Silver the Hedgehog, laughing. He has reached out for the sunshine. (52, Silver's heel turn was a complete success)

And now for something completely different! (and yet still a bit on the edgy side potentially) Amy Rose is going to settle things one on one with Shadow. Shadow seems annoyed at having to fight somebody so....perky, but he's not the first to have underestimated Amy. ....And he's not the first to pay for it! By the time Shadow starts getting serious, Amy's already rolling, and he can't handle her momentum! Just Wait A Minute! Amy gets what could be considered a big upset win! (56)

Espio and Mighty of the Chaotix are set to defend the tag titles against Scratch and Grounder. Scratch and Grounder have been on an uncharacteristic winning streak against the Chaotix, and there's a lot of tension in the ranks lately....could we have new tag champs? Unfortunately for Scratch and Grounder, their luck has run out tonight, and Mighty dunks them both for a clean win. (49)

Sonic and Tails give a quick promo before their match. They've beaten Eggman before, they've beaten Metal Sonic before, no big deal! They're gonna do it again, and give the fans a good show like always! (72) It's indeed a good show, but perhaps not as easy as they'd bargained for. Metal Sonic appears to be the exact shot in the arm the Eggman Empire needed, and gets in a lot of offense. Sonic and Eggman wind up brawling on the outside- Sonic comes out on top, but this means Tails is left alone against Metal Sonic....and goes down to a Radial Burst. (77)

That's a hard act to follow, and the main event doesn't fully succeed in doing so. Knuckles defends his Master Emerald against Chaos. It ain't pretty, but Knuckles succeeds in beating down the challenger in a long brawl. (51) Knuckles hoists the Master Emerald in victory....and gets a Drill Kick from behind! Rouge the Bat blows Knuckles a kiss and absconds with the prize! (64)

(I am gonna have SO MUCH FUN with cinematic matches :D :D :D )
